The Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen holds an International Scientific Conference in the City of Debrecen (Hungary) on 21–24 October 2008 with the title

International Conference on Automata, Languages and Related Topics (ALRT)

in honor of Professor Pál Dömösi on the occasion of his 65th birthday. The topics of the Conference will be Automata Theory, Theory of Formal Languages, Cryptography, Algebra, Number Theory, Analysis, Conventional and Unconventional Models of Computation, and Applications of Automata and Language Theory.

It would be a great honor for us if you would participate in the conference. Our next announcement containing more detailed information on the place, important dates, program and method of payment of the conference expenses (120 EUR) will be forwarded by e-mail to the colleagues, presumably at the middle of July, 2008.
